The Rise of Ransomware and Cyber Extortion Tactics Webinar

Thursday, October 14th
12:00 - 1:00pm ET

With technology becoming more widespread, cybersecurity and privacy issues continue to be a priority for both U.S. businesses and regulators. These concerns have only been exacerbated by the ways many companies were forced to adjust their operations due to the pandemic. John Landolfi and Chris Ingram of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP will discuss with CO-ACC members the common cyber security scams and extortion tactics that are on the rise.  During this complimentary webinar, they will also provide easy-to-implement steps and considerations for your businesses in approaching these scams, steps you can take to prevent costly ransomware attacks, and legal considerations if – or when – your business falls victim to an attack.

This webinar is pending approval by the Supreme Court of Ohio, Commission on Continuing Legal Education, for 1.0 total CLE general hours.
